Steal an Egg FAQ

All Questions

Is it "Steal an Egg" or "Steal a Egg"? Are they the same Roblox game?

No — they are two different games. Steal An Egg (this guide) is the 2026 hit by the group "and Collect Rare Pets" (universe 10563114921, 400K+ concurrent players) where you steal eggs from nests, hatch pets and train on a treadmill. "Steal a Egg" is an older, much smaller tycoon by Crazay Minds (2025) about stealing animals and rebirthing. Several wiki sites mix the two up; everything here is about Steal An Egg only.

Who made Steal an Egg and when did it come out?

Steal An Egg was published on 25 July 2026 by the Roblox group "and Collect Rare Pets" (group ID 825735094, owned by MisfitsBSthree). The group name is deliberately written so the game card reads "Steal An Egg and Collect Rare Pets". Within four weeks it passed 139 million visits and 400,000 concurrent players.

Are there any Steal an Egg codes?

Not as of our last check: the game has no codes button and the developers have not published any redeem codes. Sites listing codes like EGGSAUCE or BASKET are unsourced. See the codes status page for the dated check and what to watch for after Update 1.

How often do rare eggs spawn in Steal an Egg?

Roughly every 5 minutes the map resets and a rare egg (Secret, Eternal or Divine) can appear somewhere on the server — the whole server gets an alert such as "An Eternal Mosasaurus egg has spawned in Prehistoric". Only one of these spawns per server, so position yourself before the timer ends.

What is the rarest pet in Steal an Egg?

Divine is the rarest rarity: fewer than 11,000 players have earned the "Hatched Divine!" badge versus 2.7 million for Secret and 1.4 million for Eternal. Eternal is generally the best for income (Eternal Mosasaurus and Ice Dragon hatches have been shown earning 700M–1B per second).

Does Steal an Egg have an official Discord or Trello?

We could not verify an official Discord invite or Trello board for the game — Roblox hides the group's social links behind login and several "official" invites posted in video descriptions belong to YouTubers' own servers. Use the official Roblox game page and group page; our official-links guide tracks the status.

Can I play Steal an Egg on mobile, tablet or console?

Yes. The official description lists Desktop, Console, Mobile and Tablet support, and servers hold 7 players. There are no private/VIP servers yet (a frequent community request because eggs are shared between everyone on a server).

How much speed do I need for each biome?

Nests show a recommended speed label. From footage: early Forest/Lake eggs need almost nothing, a Volcano nest showed "7K recommended", the Snow Yeti nest "170,000 recommended", late Prehistoric nests around 700,000 and the top Cosmic nest about 700 million. Speed comes from the treadmill, speed multipliers and trails (Divine Trail = ×14).

What are the best pets to keep in my base?

Whatever shows the highest money-per-second on its card. Rarity is a strong hint (Divine > Eternal > Secret > Cosmic > Mythic > Legendary…), but size and mutations change the number, so compare the live value before replacing a pet. Our pet income list and tier list rank the known results.

Can you give or trade pets to other players?

Yes — players can give pets and eggs to others in-game (streamers routinely give away late-game pets), and you can also steal a copy of another player's pet egg via the DNA mechanic. There is no formal trading post, so the guide explains how giving works safely.

What is the fuse machine in Steal an Egg?

A base machine that combines multiple copies of the same pet into one stronger pet. Footage shows players collecting three identical pets (for example three T-Rexes) to fuse them; the exact output multipliers are not published, so test it with spares rather than your best pet.

Why did "Steal an Egg" shut down? Is the game gone?

It hasn't — Steal An Egg is live with 400K+ players and receiving Update 1. Searches about a shutdown usually refer to older Roblox experiences with similar names or to server hopping during updates. Check the official game page if you cannot join.
