How to Give & Trade Pets in Steal an Egg (Gifting, DNA Copies, Scams)

Giving a pet or egg

Giving is built in: approach the player, pick the pet (or egg) from your inventory and give it. Footage from 14–21 August shows it constantly — “I was just gifted a Tung Tung Sahur”, streamers announcing “ask me for a pet, I’ll trade all of these over” and handing out late-game Prehistoric pets to random players on their server. A gifted rare egg is the single biggest shortcut in the game, so it is worth being polite in servers with high-level players.

”Trading”

There is no trade window, escrow or value list inside the game. Searches for steal an egg trade, rolimons or bloxron come from players expecting Adopt-Me-style values — those sites do not track this game and no official values exist. A “trade” is simply both players giving; give second if you can, and never pay Robux to anyone for a pet.

DNA copies

You can steal DNA from another player’s pet to receive a copy of its egg (“steal DNA, you’ll get a Kraken egg copy”). Footage shows a 1,200-Robux purchase tied to keeping the stolen copy, so treat it as a paid shortcut rather than a free mechanic until the in-game prompt tells you otherwise.

Scams to avoid

  • “Give code” / “free pet” websites — there are no codes in the game (codes status); nothing on a website can add a pet to your account.
  • Script/executor “pet spawners” — exploits that risk your account.
  • “I’ll give you X if you give me Y first” from strangers — give second.
